George Sarcevic
George brings more than twelve years of international investment banking experience to the team. At Goldman Sachs, Bear Stearns, and HSBC, he helped telecom and select industrial issuers raise more than $13 billion in the international capital markets. He is a founding partner and former CFO of IX2 Networks, a leading provider of carrier-neutral collocation services in Los Angeles, California. In Serbia & Montenegro Since 2001, he completed World Bank, EBRD, and UNDP supported financial assignments at the Serbian Ministry of International Economic Relations, Ministry of Finance, and Agency of Privatization and has advised The Privatization Agency and Ministry of Finance of Montenegro. Specific experience in Serbia and Montenegro includes. Mr. Sarcevic was also a buy side advisor for Western Wireless (US) in the €114m acquisition of Telekom Montenegro. He is a graduate of Princeton University.
Les Nemethy
Founder and Managing Director of Euro-Phoenix, a boutique investment bank that specializes in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance services in Central Europe and other emerging markets. Les is a specialist in helping business owners increase the value of their companies, create liquidity, and plan and execute an eventual full or partial exit (including raising fresh equity, find strategic or financial partners, selling a minority or majority interest in the company. He has written a book on this subject “Business Exit Planning” published by Wiley & Sons. Les Nemethy has deep experience in Mergers & Acquisitions and privatization, having worked on over 200 successfully executed transactions spanning over 40 countries.
Richard Conway
Richard is a co-founder and co-owner of Elastacloud, a UK and US based Data Science and Cloud Architecture Consultancy who specialise in bringing intelligence to clients data. He is a graduated from the University of Sussex with a degree in Economics and Spanish; he has second degrees in Computer Science and Physics from the Open University. Richard has 12 years’ experience working in the City of London prior to co-founding The Clarendon Group, working for the likes of Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, ABN-Amro and others. Richard’s background is mainly in technology and quantitative analysis. Richard has been responsible for setting up a Greenfield project for Clarendon Global to resolve the issue of marine oil, sewage and toxic waste from ship vessels under contract for Turkish and Chinese ports. He has built the project from the ground up selecting the technology, securing early and late stage finance, setting up the infrastructure and conditions for success as well as lobby in both Turkey and China for partnerships with local companies and contracts with ports. Clarendon Global has widened the scope of this and enabled government officials to place this on the agenda as an environmental issue as opposed to a marine issue.
Dr. Jin Guo
Jin is a Director of CFT Overseas Corp, operating in China and the Far East. He is an investment consultant, specialized in China or China related consultancy in the field of structured project financing and securitization etc. His major clients were SINOCHEM, CDB (China Development Bank), CMEC (China Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corp.) Norilsk Nickel Europe, Sekom Group (Russian backed oil trading company), Delamore & Owl Group of Companies (Off Shore Hedge Fund), CITIC, RWE, MARITIM, Deutsche Bank, Metro (USA), China Rail Way, Gabon Government and Ghana Government etc. For 6 years, Mr. Guo was a Research Engineer at Research Institute of Aeronautical Manufacturing, Beijing, China. Before this, for 10 years, he was a Managing Director of F&G International Ltd., London. The company’s business activities mainly involved commodity trading, including physical metal and metal products trading and LME operation, futures and options. Dr. Guo holds following degrees: Philosophy of Doctor (Ph.D.) in Management Science at University of Westerminster, London, UK. Master of Science (MSc.) in Management Science Operational Research at University of Hull, UK. Bachelor of Science (BSc.) Major in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Eb Gaines
Eb started in sales in 1985 for Pacific Dunlop, (formerly GNB Batteries) a U.S. manufacturer of automotive and marine batteries, with distribution across the U.S. through large retail chains, regional distributors and original equipment manufacturers. He started on Wall Street in 1996 with Caspian Asset Management and later became a Director at ABN AMRO before founding Middle Fork Partners in 2003 where he helped build businesses such as Jana Partners, Omega Advisors, Oracle Partners and many others. He holds Series 4, 24, 7 and 63 licenses. He received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Idaho.
